How many students were enrolled in Prince George County Public Schools District in 2023-24 school year?

The only school district in Prince George County had rising enrollment in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

There were 6,181 students in Prince George County Public Schools District, 1.2% more than the year before.

Enrollment in Prince George County bucked the state's trend of decreasing enrollment.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 50.6% of them were male, and 49.3% were female.

The most represented ethnicity among Prince George County Public Schools District students was white, accounting for 44.7% of the student population.

Prince George County Public Schools District has a main office in Prince George and is the only school district within Prince George County.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
