National Breathe Free presented Erika Ramirez of Capitol Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers with its Commitment Award during the National Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers Clinical Educational Convention, held June 21 to 25 in Miami.

"(Commitment is) one of our core values. We are committed to the patient experience, patient education and excellence," Matt Ghanem, CEO of National Breathe Free, told Gateway Reporter. "No one exemplifies this more than Erika Ramirez, who leads the front office team at Capitol Breathe Free."

National Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers specialize in ear, nose and throat care. The organization has affiliate partners located in multiple states, including Florida, Texas, Virginia, California and Arizona. National Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers values quality care, as well as patient outcomes.

Ghanem and Dr. Manish Khanna, the organization's Chief Medical Officer, founded the first Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Center in the summer of 2018. Since then, several new Breathe Free clinics have opened across the country.

Prior to founding Breathe Free, Ghanem held leadership positions in the hospitality business and served in the ENT medical device industry. He earned his undergraduate degree in communications and political science from the University of Pittsburgh, then went on to earn his master's degree in business administration from the George Washington University Graduate School of Business.

Capitol Breathe Free's focus is treating patients' individual needs, providing personalized care for ENT, allergy and sinus treatment.
