Thacker Ace Hardware in Colonial Heights, Virginia, is now open for business.

America’s most celebrated “helpful place” is now open in Colonial Heights. Thacker Ace Hardware, located at 27 Dunlop Village in Colonial Heights, brings the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service, paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products, to Colonial Heights residents. Standard hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. 

"We now have two convenient locations in Colonial Heights and Petersburg," Thacker Ace Hardware's Facebook page said. "We are a family-owned and -operated small business with a focus on customer service. We are more than a traditional hardware store. We carry a wide variety of different products, ranging from grills, hunting, fishing, bird food, cleaning supplies, camping, paint, home decor and so much more."

Thacker Ace Hardware will offer Colonial Heights residents its specialty services, including delivery and assembly, key cutting, color paint matching, glass cutting, propane filling and screen repair. The store has been designed to reflect the needs of the local community and will include solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products customers have come to expect from Ace in categories such as paint, lawn and garden.

The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes. Key store product offerings include focuses on hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home decor, as well as products such as Craftsman, DeWalt, Scotts, Weber, Benjamin Moore and Clark+Kensington.

Upcoming special offers and sales include $5 off your next purchase of $15 or more, running from Aug. 8 through 14, $10 off your next purchase of $40 or more, running from Aug. 15 through 21, 50% off an item under $35 from Aug. 22 through 28, and $7 off any purchase of $40 or more, running Aug. 29 through Sept. 4.
