Of the 5,944 people living in Fort Lee in 2020, 48.6 percent (2,886) were women and 51.4 percent (3,058) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Gateway Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 273. In the 65 and over age range, there were 20 females and eight males.
