Greater Green Bay Chamber issued the following announcement on Oct. 8

Current Young Professionals (CYP), a program of the Greater Green Bay Chamber, has opened nominations for the upcoming 2022 Future 15 & Young Professional Awards, presented by the Schneider MBA program at St. Norbert College.

CYP created the Future 15 & Young Professional Awards as a way to honor young professionals and companies who advance its mission by profiling best practices that other individuals and organizations can adopt. Additionally, the awards recognize those in the Greater Green Bay area who are achieving noteworthy accomplishments and contributing to the overall quality of life in the community.

Future 15 annually celebrates 15 area young professionals who are growing and excelling in their respective fields and are currently influencing the growth, prosperity and quality of life in Greater Green Bay. From these 15, one is further honored by being named Young Professional of the Year.

The Young Professional of the Year award is given to a Future 15 recipient who demonstrates a commitment to Greater Green Bay through civic and business involvement. The individual will possess values consistent with CYP and an unwavering responsibility to the community.

Another of the young professional awards is the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award which is awarded to a local business owner who exemplifies and holds a true commitment to Greater Green Bay through their demonstrated business and entrepreneurial accomplishments and their commitment to the community. Nominations are open to anyone with at least 20-percent ownership of a business in the Greater Green Bay area.

Along with individuals, the event recognizes a Greater Green Bay business with the Next Generation Best Place to Work award. This award is presented to a business that demonstrates a commitment to the development of young professionals, adapts work-life friendly policies, values generational differences and institutes attraction and retention initiatives for young talent.
