Tyler to Host On-Campus Vaccine Clinics for Employees, Students and their Families

John Tyler Community College issued the following announcement on Aug. 12

Tyler will host on-campus vaccine clinics for our employees, students and their family members who have not yet been vaccinated and wish to be. The vaccines are free. The Pfizer vaccine, being administered by Walgreen’s, will require two shots, so please note the dates and times for both clinics, as you will need to attend both in order to get fully vaccinated. 

At the clinic, you will need to show your driver’s license or a state ID from DMV. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The vaccine clinic dates, times, locations and appointment information are as follows:

First Shot

Thursday, August 19, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm  - Chester Campus – Nicholas Center, room N102

or

Friday, August 20, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm  – Midlothian Campus – Hamel Hall, room H109

You must schedule your appointment for the first shot, in advance, by emailing hrhelpdesk@jtcc.edu. (Note: Your appointment for your second shot will be scheduled when you are on campus for your first shot.)

Second Shot

Thursday, September 9, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm– Chester Campus – Nicholas Center, room N102

or

Friday, September 10, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm – Midlothian Campus – Hamel Hall, room H109
