Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 12
The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Danielle Fitz-Hugh, Chamber President as Chairwoman, Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE), inducted at their June Annual Meeting and effective July 1, 2021.
“Our industry has faced some of it’s toughest challenges along with our members over the past 15-months, said Danielle Fitz-Hugh, as we continue to move all of us forward, I am honored to work alongside our industry of professionals in Virginia in leading the path. I am a constant learner and in order to provide to best experience for our industry, VACCE provides that knowledge base of best practices that we can incorporate into our communities. Our Board of Directors around the Commonwealth have stepped up to challenge at every turn, as the premier association for professionals in the Chamber of Commerce profession.”
Danielle has served in the profession for over 16-years including four-years here at the helm with the Chesterfield Chamber. She won Chamber Executive of Year in Virginia in 2015 an award nominated by her Board at the time and voted on by peers in the industry across the state.
VACCE is an alliance of Chamber executives from across the state working together to improve the business climate in Virginia while developing ways to enhance the quality of life in the communities they serve.
