Prince George County issued the following announcement on June 16
The Fort Lee Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) in partnership with Prince George County will hold a grand opening for six Fort Lee businesses that opened during the COVID-19 pandemic. This grand opening will be held on Friday, July 9th at 10 a.m. at the PXtra on Fort Lee, located at 1431 Mahone Ave, Bldg. 9025 Fort Lee, VA 23801.
AAFES and Prince George will be celebrating the following businesses: Tropical Smoothie, opened April 2021; Richmond Comix Tricities, opened February 2021; PXtra Beauty Supply, opened October 2020; Get it Done Sportz, opened August 2020; Jimmy Johns, opened August 2020; and Beauty Salon – The Braiding Station, opened December 2019.
Chairman Floyd M. Brown Jr. stated, “We are proud to partner with Fort Lee on this event and we are excited to welcome all six of these businesses to Prince George County! We look forward to continuing our partnership with Fort Lee AAFES in the future.”
All of these businesses are located in the PXtra on Fort Lee, which is open Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The PXtra can be reached via phone at (804) 862-3763.
