Dinwiddie County schools welcomed 319 5th-grade students in 2023-24 school year

There were 319 5th-grade students enrolled in Dinwiddie County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 0.6% fewer than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

The school that enrolled the largest number of 5th-grade students in the county was Sutherland Elementary School.

Within Dinwiddie County schools, the largest number of students were found in 10th-grade, while pre-kindergarten had the least students.

Statewide, Dinwiddie County ranked 58th in enrollment numbers. It was also ranked 58th the year before.
