County of Prince George issued the following announcement on Jan. 26
On 01/26/2022, at approximately 9:41 AM, Prince George County Police responded to the 4300 block of Jefferson Point Lane in reference to a report of shots fired. An unknown suspect fired numerous bullets into an apartment while the residents were inside. No one was injured during this incident.
The investigation revealed that a suspect, described as a black male, wearing a black mask, black jacket, and possibly tan pants was seen walking behind the apartment before firing a handgun into the dwelling. The suspect then fled the area on foot.
Prince George County Detectives are actively investigating this crime and are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call the Prince George Police Department at (804) 733-2773, email police@princegeorgecountyva.gov, or Crime Solvers at 733-2777.
