Government Affairs Committee Meeting

Guest Speaker: Andrew P. Sherrod, Hirschler Law

Topic: Employment Law

The moment is now, the importance is paramount. The Chamber Government Affairs is the backbone of our Chamber where we work to build relationship with county leaders, school officials and legislators in order to protect the interest of the business community that help make this a great place to live, work and do business.

We hold candidate forums, meet and greet opportunities and legislative receptions and issue driven forums to educate our members.

Policy position statements begin here.  Advocacy for pro-business policy legislation conversation begin here.  All politics are local and so join the conversation.  

Speakers lending their expertise on topics that matter and move the region forward.  Advocating, affecting and influencing business condition that create economic opportunities within the Chesterfield Region.  We build relationship with business leaders, elected leaders and government staff to build a community of economic wealth throughout the region.

 

When: Fourth Wednesday of the month, 8:00 am

These members maintain relationships with elected officials and government agencies while educating them on issues of importance to the membership.  They craft and communicate pro-business policy positions and host the annual legislative reception.
