Notice of Cancellation: The Surry County Board of Supervisors Public Hearing Scheduled for Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 7:00 to hear comments and to consider the adoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 20, Article III, Division 2 of the Surry County Code has been cancelled.

At approximately 11:17 a.m. on March 2, 2026, the Prince George County Police Department responded to a serious accident involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer in Prince George, Virginia.
The Chesterfield County Utilities Department is continuing work to repair a 24-inch water transmission main along the westbound lanes of Hull Street Road, near 10800 Hull Street Road and just west of Speeks Drive.
Early voting began in Chesterfield County on March 6 for Virginia’s April 21 special election.
