Property Tax Due Date Extension Approved
As a measure to provide tax relief to citizens during the current inflationary period, the due date for Surry County property taxes has been extended from December 5th to March 5th. Taxpayers can pay without incurring penalty and interest until March 5th. The Treasurer’s Office can be reached at 757-294-5206.
