The Prince George County Police Department released on April 27 its report detailing department activity from March 30 through April 12, 2026. The report covers incidents and arrests during this two-week period and provides weekly highlights.
The police department’s activities take place in a community served by the Prince George County Public Schools District, which enrolled a total of 6,181 students during the 2023-24 school year according to the Virginia Department of Education. This enrollment figure represents a slight increase of 1.2% compared to the previous year’s total of 6,106 students as reported by the same source.
Within the district’s seven schools, Prince George High School had the highest student enrollment with a total of 1,818 students for the academic year according to information from the Virginia Department of Education. North Elementary School recorded notable numbers at both ends of early education: it enrolled the largest number of pre-kindergarten students in the county with 46 children—accounting for more than one quarter (27.7%) of all pre-kindergarteners—and also led kindergarten enrollment with 119 students or about one quarter (25.1%) of all kindergartners in Prince George County according to state data.
Demographic data show that white students made up nearly half (44.7%) of public school enrollments in Prince George County during this period, totaling 2,765 individuals; Black students followed as the next largest group at just over thirty percent (30.4%), or approximately 1,880 enrollees as reported by the Virginia Department of Education.
