At approximately 11:17 a.m. on March 2, 2026, the Prince George County Police Department responded to a serious accident involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer in Prince George, Virginia.
According to preliminary investigations, the driver of the pickup truck veered out of their designated lane and entered the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer, resulting in a collision. After impact, the pickup truck left the roadway and came to rest after striking a tree in nearby woods.
Emergency personnel from Prince George Fire and EMS treated the driver of the pickup at the scene. The individual was later airlifted by Air Care Eagle to Chippenham Hospital for further medical care due to serious injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
The police department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. “If you witnessed the accident or have any additional information, please contact the Prince George County Police Department at (804) 733-2773,” officials said.
