Starting July 1, 2022, our college officially becomes Brightpoint Community College. This new name is as vibrant as the work we do; the people and communities we serve; and the employees who dedicate themselves to our students’ success. It is forward-looking and speaks directly to our mission, vision and values, while also encompassing our history and our more than 50 years of being an institution that’s a bright point for our community and those we have served.
Although our name is changing, what is at our core is not. We continue to be our community’s college, opening doors to opportunity for all; providing a top-notch education and experience to our students; and working closely with area employers to support their workforce needs.
Over the coming months and throughout the summer, you will see Brightpoint emerge on our campuses and in our digital spaces as we transition to our new name, and we look forward to celebrating this change with you as we head into the upcoming academic year.
