CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The curtain is about to go up as The Lynn Theatre at Brightpoint Community College prepares to bring the contemporary comedy Legacy of Light by Karen Zacarias to the stage. Legacy of Light tells the stories of two women, one a mathematician and scientist living in the 18th century and the other a 21st century physicist, as they explore the meaning of love, motherhood, family, art and science. Directed by Zack Owen, Legacy of Light is recommended for audiences age 13 and up. Performances will be held at The Lynn Theatre, located in Trailblazer Hall on the college’s Midlothian Campus (800 Charter Parkway):November 11 at 7:00 p.m.November 12 at 7:00 p.m.November 13 at 2:00 p.m.November 17 at 7:00 p.m.November 18 at 7:00 p.m.November 19 at 2:00 p.m.
General admissions tickets are $10. Tickets are free for current students with a Brightpoint student ID. Online ticket purchase at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/5587550 is encouraged.
