Glen Sturtevant, a public official and former Virginia state senator, made several statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account on October 1, 2025, addressing political and educational issues.

In a post at 12:31 p.m., Sturtevant questioned the legitimacy of a community service arrangement involving a Political Action Committee. He wrote, “500 hours of “community service” for his own Political Action Committee is obviously insane. Who approved that? And what would be the non-corrupt explanation for allowing it?”.

Later that day at 12:45 p.m., Sturtevant criticized Loudoun County school officials’ handling of parental involvement and discipline at public meetings. He stated, “Loudoun school officials will go to great lengths to undermine you as a parent and confuse your kids. And then they’ll have you arrested for speaking out about it at a school board meeting.”

At 6:45 p.m., Sturtevant commented on federal budget negotiations, expressing frustration with Democratic lawmakers over government funding talks. He posted, “The Dems aren’t even trying to get the government back open. $1.5 Trillion?! C’mon man…”

Sturtevant has been an active figure in Virginia politics, previously serving as a member of the Virginia Senate representing parts of Richmond and Chesterfield County.
