Glen Sturtevant, a public figure in Virginia politics, made several posts on his social media account in early October 2025 addressing local events and expressing strong opinions about recent political controversies.
On October 3, 2025, Sturtevant posted about a community gathering: “Good to see so many of you this evening at Keystone Grill! Let’s keep working to make Virginia the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
The following day, he commented on reactions from members of the opposing party regarding an incident involving Charlie Kirk. On October 4, 2025, he wrote: “Very consistent with the other Virginia Dems who got caught celebrating after Charlie Kirk’s death: ‘I’m sorry you caught me'”.
Later that same day, Sturtevant addressed statements attributed to Jay Jones. In his post dated October 4, 2025, he stated: “Jay Jones’s point is that killing is justified to achieve political ends. That is terrorism. This is America. The Constitution doesn’t require us to accept terrorism just because it comes from a major party nominee. If this guy doesn’t step down on his own, DOJ must step in”.
These posts come amid heightened political tensions in Virginia as public officials respond to controversial incidents and statements by prominent figures. Glen Sturtevant has previously served as a member of the Virginia State Senate and remains active in state politics.
