Glen Sturtevant, a Republican elected to the Virginia State Senate in 2024 representing the 12th district, has posted a series of tweets addressing recent political developments and public events.

On April 6, 2026, Sturtevant commented on Governor Spanberger’s handling of legislative matters: “Spanberger can reverse this downward approval spiral by vetoing the tax increases, collective bargaining, and anti-gun bills that restrict what can be purchased. Libs are still getting a laundry list of the crazy stuff they want. Those vetoes would engender a lot of goodwill with https://t.co/d4BgPD8gGW”.

The following day, on April 7, he addressed media relations by stating: “These interactions with the press are getting weirder. The vibes are not good. https://t.co/CVakTBfm6p”.

On April 8, Sturtevant remarked on a public incident: “Just a “teen takeover” by “aspiring Americans” https://t.co/astqDDJsbe”.

Sturtevant assumed office after defeating Siobhan Dunnavant in the 2024 election for Virginia’s 12th Senate district.
