John Tyler Community College issued the following announcement on Dec. 14

Help us congratulate our Fall 2021 nursing graduates! Nearly 40 graduates were honored during the college’s fall Nursing Pin Ceremony, held last Friday at the Chester Campus. Nicole Duell, RN, who is the chief nursing officer at John Randolph Medical Center, delivered the keynote address, during which she praised the students for their resiliency, calling them “lights of hope.” The graduates also heard from one of their classmates, who shared the story of her journey through the program.
